Alternative approaches to teaching and playing

This essay was written for the final submission of a two-year part time, further eduction course in teaching pop music, and particularly the keyboard (electronic and acoustic). It relates some personal experiences of how I came to my teaching philosophy, as well as what that philosophy and method is. It tries to comprehensively cover what skills are needed by the modern keyboard player and, by extension, the modern keyboard teacher.
